Small Changes, Big Difference

I was making cards with a friend the other day when she reminded me of something I had completely forgotten—she had made some small stucco panels with me a while back. She told me she put them up in her room, and something incredible happened.

She used to have such bad condensation that the wallpaper was peeling off from the edges of the walls. But ever since she placed just three small stucco panels in the room, there’s been no more condensation. I was amazed. Three small pieces, and that much of a difference?

I’ve always known that diatomaceous stucco helps regulate moisture, but hearing it directly from someone’s personal experience made me appreciate it in a whole new way. I love when art not only brings peace and beauty—but actually improves the space it lives in.

小さな面積、大きな変化

先日、友人と一緒にカード作りをしていたときのことです。以前、一緒に小さな漆喰パネルを作ったことを思い出させてくれました。彼女はそのパネルを自分の部屋に飾ったそうです。

なんと、それまでひどい結露で壁紙が端から剥がれていたのが、その小さなパネルを3枚置いただけで、結露がなくなったとのこと。びっくりしました。たった3枚で、そんなに変わるなんて！

珪藻土漆喰が湿度を調整してくれることは知っていましたが、実際に使ってくれた人の話を聞くと、その効果に改めて感動します。空間に美しさと平和をもたらすだけでなく、暮らしをより快適にしてくれるアートって、やっぱりすごいなと思いました。
